How strong the troll on level 2 is?

When I said "triple digits" I meant 100+ quality. But steel gauntlets+legguards+plate would be really hard to achieve early. As for additional armored equipment (boots, cape, helmet, vest), they don't give much each, but they add up. Also hard to achieve in higher qualities before you have access to high-q strings etc.

If you're just starting digging on lvl2, your best bet is to run from spawned troll and try to kill him with bows/disposable alts or call someone to help you. Without q60+ steel gear you won't probably be able to defend from a troll's attack head-on, and with that gear you will most likely have literally 1 agility.

Again, I'm speculating on a very scarse information I have from experience since Wiki doesn't seem to be reliable in these matters anymore.

Yes, it is possible. Not very hard, but not stupid simple either. There is not much room for error, don't make wrong turns while being chased.

This! There's a moment of my trollfight that still makes me shiver: while I was trying this and that combat deck against the troll, I fought it in a considerably tight space near to minehole so I could jump out of combat if things got hairy or my deck wasn't properly set up. And, surely enough, trying to position myself so that I could get away I got blocked in a 1-tile crevice in the wall. By a troll. With a wrong deck, my armor slowly being chewed through! The mere thought of that moment still makes my skin crawl, for a second I thought I'd lost all my months of progress (I don't have alts, my character is an uni). I do take some pride in keeping my cool, unequipping my sword, equipping a Stone Axe and digging myself out all the while Shielding-Up like crazy.

1) does troll run at speed 3?
2) How many unarmed combat has troll on level 2? or are troll's unarmed combat same on all levels?
