Another easy thing to do, if q isn't a huuuge deal and/or you have a lot of time, there's also a chicken coop.

High q is best done by hunting large game, though.

High q is best achieved via breeding.

He could have been a bit more diplomatic in his statement, but his follow up is spot on, though. The "common" hunting method is overly complicated, but I do agree it's the only practical way of doing it now without a horse. Not everyone can run one client well enough, let alone two. Sure, the one in the background drops to use very little in resources, but it does have a significant performance impact on computers that get less than 20 fps. Just remember that a vast majority of our player base lives in countries that aren't considered "affluent."

But to be honest, I've done almost nothing but hermit in Haven and have figured out my own ways to play the game that doesn't require alts* etc etc. Even hunting is doable with patience and without a lot of convoluted procedures.

*I'll note that I do still keep alts around to protect against skill loss and the resulting quality loss in some areas, but I don't need them just to follow me around hunting and such.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
