No, your dead character had to be 8 hours old in order to inherit. You can inherit fine and try to bury the body.

The original post fits Moot section pretty enough, IMO. And I doubt the author can bury the body. He walked like a whole day for the point where he drowned. Pretty surehe won't be able to find his body.

If you get there within a day your body will be floating in the water and you can recover it along with all the stuff he had.
