What do you mean by "fresh" character? Fresh as in:
1) New character with no base set up nor village to join.
In this case,I think investing in PERC x EXPLR x SURV is important. It'll help find decent curio while searching for a good base location.

2) New character but either base or village is already established
I'm definitely not an expert but I think Ysh is correct that you need an industry. Since mining & smithing is a bit hard for me, I focus on Farming & Sewing. Also, My Psyche stat is very low so my main stable high Q curios are Straw Doll, Bouquet of Flower, and Great Wax Seal. I can also make the Seer's item but yeah .... Psyche sort of caps it.

I've attached the curio spreadsheet that I use. For me, these are the more "common" curios I that I see with my activities.

What is your LP per hour with a full study window, with your farming/sewing setup?

At the moment, full study window with 66 INT and ~Q90+ curios gives me about 2500 LP / Hour.

im going to have to debate this one, cone cows are extremely good curiosities, and the only drawback is the fact you need to refill your study with them every 20 minutes, but with a study table full of conecows, you would have a constant stream of cone cows flowing, with just a base lp of 50, that means that in an hour you would get 150 lp per hour, and with the study table holding 49, it means that in 16 hours and 20 minutes, with only using 1 attention point, you would study 2450 lp, and this being a base q10 cows, with a good axes you could multiply this number 3900, 4900 and so on, wich is very strong, and if you use the remaing space in your study for bigger curiousities the cone cows fullfill the role of short term lp really neatly

If you would have filled the desk with other stuff too so it would refill expiring curious for the 65 attention left (which is what the OP queried about) it would be a different matter, but your pure diet of them dosn't sound serious - more like you didn't read what he wrote or disregarding it

Interesting. I have to agree with you. Cone cow is definitely the best stable curio for LP/Hour/Weight. The better strategy for active player seems to be filling up his/her study desk with cone cows & log in regularly to exchange other curios.
