doesn't matter. Ozzy did indeed send me a vid. but I am no where close to his status as a character(gear or stats). and as I previously said I don't know the ins and outs of combat.

if I had the gear, like if I had the exact gear as him I'm afraid it still wouldn't be enough.

You guys are forgetting the bear's rage phase was immensely buffed in a recent update.



I had 200 ish uac when this happened and around 180 points worth of armor. The bear was capable of taking most of my openings to 100% in a matter of mere seconds, after that it was doing hhp damage in the double digits (even through my armor).

I'd say unless you bring along a decent weapon for finishing the bear off quickly as it starts raging or you use a horse, then don't even bother. It's very easy to get stuck with a raging bear that regains his openings faster than you can punch your way through them, and your best bet at that point is to hope the bear simply knocks you out instead of killing you. They attack extremely fast in bursts (I'd say 2-3 attacks per second when it happens, not even exaggerating).

Hehe, only if you have this strategy in mind before the fight (and have the exp). It's quite hard to think of something else other than "help me jesus" while you're getting mauled by the thing you had so easily almost beat 5 seconds before.
Good tip though, always carry enough exp for that incase crap hits the fan.
