If someone can prove me that getting more than 1 mc will be better than just rushing UA then I'll jump of WTC

I`m quite sure that amount of damage that goes through opening is somewhat influenced by combat delta (which is enemy defensive stance vs your attack weight, and you attack weight for chop is MC). Need testing though. Maybe i`ll bother to test.

Attack weight for MC attacks is based on the weapon, and even if MC did help with attack weight you'd still be using UA attacks to raise openings, since all attack weight helps with is for openings.

I guess MC can work for hunting if you use Quick Barrage and Cleave.

Some attacks refer to MC * weapon * %%, but only a few of them. Most are still "according to weapon".

Confusion here is, that all MC attacks has this notion int the end in italic:

Unless otherwise specified weapons will use your characters value in melee combat for their attack weight.

Question is - does this corresponds to According to weapon attack weight or not.
If yes - that means that According to weapon = 100% MC.

TBH i`d like Jorb/Loftar to clarify this a bit.

Would be nice. But judging by how most of the abilities work with MC=1 it seems it's really according to the weapon, without MC skill. Plus there are abilities like Full Circle which has MC skill mentioned directly in the attack weight row.

I thought they removed weapon quality mattering in attack weight at one point in last world?
Pretty sure it only takes MC as weight now.

There is that mystical weapon base damage still which makes bronze sword better than wrought iron but worse than steel one. I guess that might still be used. Have to admit it's only this world I am trying things out with MC=1 and it seems working just too fine for if that "1" would have been taken in consideration.

I am not sure either anymore. The move descriptions being all over the place don't help either.
Right now I just think swords are damage sticks.
