If you were a dwarf you wouldn't be susceptible to mistakenly allowing your tunnels to cave in.

a note: i took a 21 damage concussion and 18 damage worth of swollen bumps from a level 1 cavein, so there is a significant amount of variation

My First Cavein this world: rocks missed me, no damage. Second one ditto. Now thankfully have some metal and can mine a bit more safely (and the neighbour who caused cavein number three in a shared mine has now built a support, win!).
