If you don't have an inward gate the only way for you to get back to your base while in combat is to have a master key with you. Which is stupid. What Avu is saying is that one day the inward gate might save your life and actually is a good thing (as long as master key doesn't leave the base).

if they aggro you and run through the gate just evict them and they get KO and them kill them and make funny forum topic

I guess I'd consider this bad? (Guess I should clarify my earlier post in that slave keys can only be used on the one side--the side that makes the gate open towards the "outward" direction. If you're outside, and your gate opens to outside, slave key is useless. If your gate opens to the inside, you slave key is useless while standing inside.)
