solo boathunting 101

just lure them to yellow x spot and beat them from the direction white arrow points so when the animals flee they run to the direction arrow points and you can just build openings and hit till they reaggro, repeat till dead. Works with even less ideal shallow waters, just be careful and block the only way out if they try to flee that way.

It's quite regional according to my findings. but then again it doesn't have to be a perfect penis. even a small outreach into the water or an extra long corner of a river will do.

Yeah I found one but luring mr fox to it took a solid 20 mins

Just kill anything smaller than a boar IMO. Leather armor is cheap, and if you don't do big damage to it, you should be able to finish it without it running. (Not had a fox try to run yet myself.)

Ive killed like 10-20 animals in less than 1 hour with a method i use, and i melee them all. I use 2 characters and 1 boat and a pen muahahahaha.

How so? Did you have to kite it for like 15 grids away? If you don't pull to the deep water it's just constant chase without stops...
