Frog legs are the best and earliest

Once your agi is around 30, bats are your best food

if you can get metal, deer sausage is the best agi food in the game, and since this world is 'cheese combat or die' the game, just cheese deer kills

Needs some hoops to jump through now, as chives are one ingrediant now. You can grow them in pots though.

DDD is awful ... and not early at all.

DDD are relatively good if you have a solid amount of the ingredients. That +2 agi comes often and is sick, but like above poster said, these aren't really easy to come by early game.

Perhaps it depends on the individual play style but I don't bother with agi at all in the early game allowing it to fall behind the other stats.

Once I get access to robs ang honey buns raising agi becomes easy enough.

I never said its early, I said once you get metal, and metal is easy to come by in hafen

DDDs give 6 +2 agi FEPs base, which is pretty good, and you can hunt deer early if you cheese with boat hunting, as I said this world is nothing but cheese fighting animals because the combat system is bad no matter how many stats you got.

DDD has 1.5 effective FEP/hunger (no one want int or perc when they can make DDD) , that's what I call super shit.

by principle I don't tell what is good , to ppl who might kill me eventually , but from time to time I point out what is bad , to help.
I demonstrated why DDD is trash , now you do what you want with that :)

early game, the nutjerky/fruitroasts don't do much for agi or anything. nutjerky gives about .2-.3 agi with rabbit and .8 agi with horse. nutjerky for me is the easiest str food early game. agility i usually got from rabbits when i was lucky to get one without a horse. but fruitroasts with... plum or redcurrent give some agi, plum:1.1 redcurrent:.5 but they take from the other stats as plum reduces int from 2 to 1.1 while redcurrent changes will from 1 to .4 (all at 10q)

damn rng in this game
