Rewards are worth it depending on your luck. For most or half of the community it's waste of time for other two, lucky lottery wins.

The Experience from quests is worth it, IMO. I wait until I have more than a few to turn in, then make a big loop with the boat. It seems it just keeps making a bigger and bigger circle every time, but the nature spirits all seem to be 15-20 minutes away from each other.
