If each card gives +0.125 after the first it makes sense. 1>1.125>1.25>1.375>1.5
Lucky: haven is so quirky

Indeed that is how it is.

Translate that shit to non mathematic users and you will have won the universe.
You want this game to reach as many users as you can. Avoid pedantic shit and translate it. Wasnt most of the people favourable to pragmatism? Eat it.
No more u.

This is a very small mechanic where the only things you really need to know is that it starts at 1 and ends at 1.5, and what gets it to 1.5 is adding
more cards up to 1.5
also it's not a u, its a greek letter called mu. not sure how many people are familiar with greek letters though, interesting game design choice (i find it cool)
Admittedly there's not much explanation given in game about it.
At the very least there should be somewhere saying that having more cards of a skill makes it stronger, unless there already is and I forgot about it, then
it's probably fine as it is.

Using five cards of a move gives you 50% extra UA/Melee skill for an ability. Using one card gives you your normal UA/Melee. Not sure it can be made simpler than that. "Each card after the first adds 12.5% extra UA/Melee" starts getting a little mathier and isn't that important.

If you don't like math "More cards = more bonus UA/Melee up to 50% extra for that move" is plenty fine anyway.

I had been confused on the combat too, but after readin this thread I understand it like this: I kill the critter (that can defend itself), get the cards, and if I have enough cards I can invest up to five in an ability to make it better. Did I get the gist?
The sum of my experience is comprised up of more skeletons on my own claim then alot of you guys have wood blocks invested in your wall. But even though these skeles show i am a bad player- i still strive to continue through this vile territory in the hopes that one day i will have an army big enough to find you and murder all you know
