I personaly prefer Take Aim+Flex+(some green opener)+Sting

but it's worse!!

Is it realy worse? Using Sting my character could deal up to 300 pts of damage in one hit to ista kill animal before it flees, also flex helps keep openings low. While uppercut + sideswipe deal about 50 damage per hit and animal often flees and you dont have any deffence for free as with flex.

ehh the dps is lower with sting but if you want to be able to 1hit every animal just use cleave instead. cleave + flex + parry should do it

I've been guessing that punch+parry+sting would be useful. In general, I like having a free hand for Tsack while foraging/hunting.

Unless there's a good axe that's not 2handed ingame that I don't know about.

Edit: On that note, how do dual openings work now? Is it combination, but penalty style (50*50=25). The highest of the two, or some kind of multiplier for having multiple openings. You only mention blue despite having red in that attack.

What does this have to do with what I said?

It's a question on the topic, you know more than I do. Was hoping you'd share your infinite wisdom if that's a useful idea :P Also I edited my original post asking about how openings work since having read through the material I still haven't figured out how dual openings work.

There's really no reason to use sting though tbh. A hunting deck could consist of cleave and full circle for example, depending on what animal you're fighting.

Pretty sure there's a multiplier for having multiple openings. a 40 40 hit is something like a 60 hit. I'll do some more testing though - openings are weird, for example a 10 opening hit deals much less damage than 10% of 100 opening hit.

Are you B12 hunting? Or is there a 1 handed axe that doesn't suck? I'm trying to make a simple deck for sword fighting since it's far more accessible to new players, unless there's an axe type I'm missing. Metal hatchets just don't have the base damage to outdo a simple bronze sword, even if they get better % multipliers.

Oh I understand now.

Yes I use b12 but Cleave works with sword too.

Really? Wow I thought cleave was restricted to axes only.

Now I'm curious what weapons aren't "heavy edged" if swords count.
