Where is Snake+Stag Beetle?

I found a beetle in a forest biome, along with snakes. It seems that his finding with the biome is not connected. Just rare.

No I found two she I had around 600 per * exp. From my experience, they spawn on the same biome as hedgehogs (oakwolds)
