Leechs :D ... walking into swamps you get them on you.
Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.

It's better to eat first, so that the energy strip becomes green...
Excuse me, I don't speak English.

lol its a common way fresh noobs die i still find bodys sometimes covered in leeches (mabye if noobs started with ungildable rags to take up space in equipment less noobs woulds die)

to claim it you need bond so unless last owner gave you (takes 8 hours i think and needs you to study curios or wont work or something) no way to take over claim till its fully decays and is unclaimed

Unfortunately. The number of ways to get obliterated immediately is much smaller than before, but this and drowning still exist. Even drowning isn't as likely to kill you anymore as leeches.

To clarify what viznew is stating: You can either get the bond from the last owner and study it for approximately 96 hours to make the claim yours (sometimes it might just be laying around in a chest) OR you can destroy the existing claim (assuming it is out of presence... otherwise you need a siege engine and break the shield first). A new claim is then about 8 hours to become active.

Note: times given on the forum are real time, but based in game days. It's approximately 1 game day every 8 hours, but is about 10% faster on average, so you actually get about 3.2 game days per real day. Keep in mind things usually do happen a bit earlier than times mentioned here (or the RoB wiki) if you're waiting on game timers.

no, you need to open your equipment screen, and remove the leeches from the slots and drop them into your inventory or onto the ground.

No, they'll continue to nibble on you as soon as you log in again.
Open your equipment screen and remove them.
