What speaks against drying them should one kill more bats than can be studied?

Well, was more about the intent to make a bat wing cape... can't use dried wings for that. You dry every other hide item in this game before using it to craft with EXCEPT that one.

Thanks for all the helpful replies. Good to know I am progressing normally. So following the consensus I am going to start pumping UA until i get 40 or so, try to get some livestock and keep exploring. To onep, I will be happy to accept a freebie, I am not too proud. Thx again.
