Credo quest doubt

I'm stuck for a while now, need to forage a Kvann. But i know eventually i'll find it

Also it's my last quest i think

Are you sure you're on a Kvann spawning biome?

I searched for it today on 2 of the 3 biomes which they spawn(according to wiki) for 2 hours, and nothing sadly. My per*exp aint that high tho, 38*55.

I've read that some people found it with 3000 per*exp, if thats a requirement then i'm 1k away from it

I think if it's one of the hardes i will drop it. But how many quest will i have to do if i drop this one? the last 2 i did?

Every time you press abandon quest you will drop down by one step of progress.
Quests are random, so you will get different ones than before.

I think the hardest quests on forager are related to getting/eating strawberries.

I've been stuck on bloated boletes before, and they're not as rare, but still a "rare" mushroom. (If you aren't on when the spawn timer pops, you won't get another chance for a day or two.)

The spawn timer is something jorb and loftar have only hinted at with "rare" foraged items. We haven't figured it out yet, and if anyone has, they're not sharing with the rest of us.

More specifically, and this is my understanding of it--it's a global pool that renews every so often, and as long as there is a counter, there's a chance for that item to spawn if you're in the right area for it. Once the pool has been foraged out, though, everyone has to wait for it to refill. This is similar to the localized resources, but not as long.

Are Peculiar Foatsams counted in that timer? If thats the case the timer just reset. Found one on a river i already sailed before
