I don't get upset about it, as when someone brings information to the forum that is clearly on the wiki wrong, then we know to update the wiki.

I know it sucks to come up wrong, but at least it's bringing some good about. Thanks for taking one for the team. We--all the players, not just wiki editors--should double check this stuff all the time! (Being a wiki editor usually means you're busy doing just that and have less time to double check accurate info other than when you're specifically doing a page.)

edit:
While on the subject, and the wiki, I would like to double check on this:

RoB Wiki wrote:You will only to be able to detect Scents if your Perception * Exploration is higher than the criminal's Stealth * Intelligence

My understanding was it was a "challege" condition, much like foraging. Above a threshold, and the scent will always be visible. Below that threshold, the chance decreased until dropping below 0%. What should also be mentioned in that blurb is that, as an added penalty, if below the criminal's "stealth" score, they become harder to track (the tracking pointer becomes more ambiguous). (Also, another area of the wiki that needs cleaned up and standardized...)

Don't want to digress too much, it's just a Me Problem with what I'd call "wiki culture" in video games, in general. Your stance is basically the Correct one.

Basically, the wiki is only as accurate as the writers and editors that publish it... kind of like any other publication!

It's all good. We all have our pet peeves.

Well just for future, if You did not test mechanic yourself, it's better to trust someone who did. And then update the wiki! Hope nobody got offended.
