You probably don't want to sit at 1 SHP, though, since animals can kill.

Well, same grevious as W10 for would be murderers running without KO prot is pretty reliable kills still no? I actually remember a post of yours from back then talking about how easy it was to do for experienced fighters lol.

Either way thanks for bringing me up to speed.

Just to make sure, this means Murder is now the dangerous skill and any hermit can buy Rage to be able to beat up petty thieves without any danger to his KO protection, right?
Total misplay.

Correct. No skill has a downside just for buying it now. You should buy every skill and assume everyone else has every skill.

So assume anyone can attack anyone else freely, and if the loser gets downed from sword blows he'll take a lot of HHP from grievous damage, but he'll have knockout protection so probably won't die.

If one of the combatants chooses to trigger murderous rage, he'll remove his own knockout protection so unless he wins the fight he is screwed. In exchange, he gets 20% more grievous damage.

I really think this is great compared to the previous system. It makes violence a lot more accessible and attractive option while still making it pretty hard to die unless you really piss someone off or are careless.

Murder itself is not dangerous. It unlocks a dangerous ability (Murderous rage).

Very cool, i thought it was strange you couldn't even have the ability last world since it opts you into death.

That said, i did like the knowledge that vandalism and siegecraft were locked behind Rage, meaning anyone who attempts to raid you has to be opted in for death and therefor could be killed.
