If the person that died inherited when making a new character properly, you don't need theft. You may still get a warning pop-up when attempting to take the items from the body, but don't actually need to commit any criminal acts. The "Criminal Acts" in the game can be left "off."

Hi thank you for help. Recent update. I created a new player and buried the bones, the items were just around the bones so i hadnt chance to steal them, using theft . After that i buried the body, nothing happends. I made a new character and i was able to inherit the claim stones and get all 40% bonus and some experience to. Why this is so complicated, idk.

And again, why then, when my friend died, pressed inherit, he get 15% atributes and claim stone BUT the body was disappeared, so he couldn't receive his items and bury the bones. It was near our base and nobody was there, or this is bug or other strange game mechanic?

You don't need to bury the body before you inherit from an ancestor. Simply make a new character (on the same account) after a death, and the runestone marking the grave will give a list of ancestors to inherit from. When you get back into the game, you can bury the body as soon as possible to regain some extra points. If you're still at the newbie stages, though, you will likely earn more back in the time it takes to decay than you lost all together from the death.

If the body is lost for any reason, say a drowning occurred and nobody retrieved the body from the water before it decays, you're stuck. There is the [urlhttp://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Ancestral_Worship]Ancestral Worship[/url] skill that will allow you to Lament the Departed and make up for it, but again, it's likely not worth it if you've not made it past the newbie stages of character growth. Note: there are a few other circumstances where a body can be lost/destroyed, though I can't name them off hand; bugs are possible, but need documentation to get fixed. Also, some players will collect other bodies just to make a cemetery (which encourages mandrakes to spawn).
