It's probably a driver difference. It could potentially even be a driver bug, so you may want to try updating your driver to see if that helps. I'll have to meditate on what it means that you get no output at all. That is very strange to me.

Well like I said the only thing I can give a hint at is the fact that the Amber client worked fine before the latest update, but the official and Ender client both had this issue for me for a very long time.

I dunno why a custom client would modify how clicks were resolved from the world, but for whatever reason maybe it did in some way that coincidentally fixed this issue. If I figure out anything on my end that fixes this I'll mention it.

Well, Amber still uses the pre-rewrite rendering system, so its clicktest works very differently. There's not a whole lot to compare.
