That's why they are easily destructible - before it's too late. And they cost pretty much nothing.

Instant dry "screw you" claims from W5 were utter cancer. If someone has to take the punishment, better to kick around new players because that's one time in a person's playtime/world. Instant dry claims can be used to grief the entire world cycle.

Would it be better if claim posts started with a tiny bit of soak? Like, enough to prevent people with <50 str from bashing them. Would prevent a lot of the headaches that happen day 1-3 of every world, without the instant drying claim griefing BS of the past. Sure factions can funnel resources to get 50 str characters day 1, but I don't see a problem with that. It still prevents 90% of early world claim bashes from my experience which is "I randomly stumble upon your claim and decide to bash it because it takes like a minute and you can't stop me lulz ¦] "

While knocking out the LP for yeomanry isn't instant, it isn't that hard, either. A person could easily put up 3 troll claims to keep you from settling that spot even if they couldn't bash your claim.

If a man can not impose his will even to mere extent of set up big stick with skull in it, how he can claim to be master of this domain at all?

Well now, claiming that is exactly what he does through this act, is it not?

I suppose, yes it is!

But problem perhaps is that this is all he does. And bogus claim have way of becoming challenged.

If you don't build your day 1 claim somewhere bold or stupid, or if you even build it somewhere Smart™, like a cave, it's really easy to make a claim stick.
