if attack gets queued and u lower your opening itll still go through with the attack most likely resulting in it spamming the shit out of u because that attack opens for a shit ton as well.

That screenshot is proof that this is a YOU problem.

The screenshot literally shows the bat having Vampirism queued immediately after I used a Punch (i.e. I did not just use a yellow restoration), with my yellow opening at 43%. The wiki says "Will only use if Reeling is above 50%". Moreover, the wiki claims none of the bat's attacks cause dark blue openings, yet I have 80% dark blue opening. How is this not clear evidence that the wiki is wrong on bat behavior?

EDIT: By the way, forgot to mention that Vampirism seems to cause dark blue opening. Added to OP now.

the fact that you are using the wiki to understand how to fight a bat during your 11th year of play is the real issue here

bats were not buffed and it does not matter what the wiki says

VDZ, it is time to take a step back and self-assess

retard logic, combat has changed significantly in 11 years, and he never said he needed help or was looking on info for help just that he is analyzing the bats behavior and it does not seem consistent with the wiki.

with a horse and keeping defense low fox is easy. badger is harder because he hits red attack and no red defense default. uppercut was the first dmg move i discover, it hits like 20s so a fox is fairly quick

on horse though you can aggro a badger and lead him into a fox and with enough peristence they will fight, then u can kill the badger while he is distract with fox and follow up on the weak fox for easy pickens

in pve are openings so important that it is better to ensure ur defs are always up instead of trying to just hit shit to death, like if i want to farm ants for skills am i better off kiting them and keeping openings low even if i dont have jack shit and i just want to punch them, where is the guide

yea dude idk, i remember the days when u could just sit and tank an anthill but it seems impossible now, always need to be spamming defenses. you dont put em up anymore either you get an opening and use defenses to lower it. i always kite and get defenses low but they will stick hit u for knicks and knacks and i fine sometimes its quicker and i take less dmg if i just go ham full offensive but without armor the fuckin wounds add up and are a pain to heal. im not gonna fk with mm but idk

like with ants i know i can get 2 punches while they get 1, then as soon as secnd i walk away get defenses low then reengage
