How to play with friends (a guide)

Squirrels can usually be caught with just the 3rd speed (running) but animals seem to have at least slight variation in their speed - some squirrels indeed being fast enough that you need 4th speed.

One tip is to "box them in" using cliff or a river - stop well before hitting the obstacle yourself, wait a bit for the squirrel being forced to turn around, then click it again.

That is some squirrels strategy there.

It's take 5 minutes(7 if you watching video before). I even spenе time(5 minutes) and tested it by myself. I can only add, that you must spend you first boards for bucket, coz stamina can be a huge issue, if ppl don't know how it works.
Spawn ppl at hs can create more problems that you think.

It might take a veteran player 5 minutes (I doubt it btw), it's gonna take first time players a lot longer than that

A noobie trying to spawn 3-4 of his friends is gonna have to dig up 30-40 clay, chip 30-40 stones and chop down 2-4 trees to make 30-40 blocks and 30-40 boards IN ADDITION to all the time they'll spend learning the game's mechanics, finding and catching an animal for bones etc

Tons of noobies will conclude this is way too much work and give up halfway through

As things stand there's no way to start the game with your friends and explore the game together, you have to start playing by yourself and spend an extreme amount of time and energy before your friends can even join you.

Not a bad vid but I started zoning out halfway through. The process is way too complex for noobies, just doing it once takes forever, imagine someone trying to spawn 3 or 4 friends on their first playthrough, they'll quit and uninstall the game after 30 minutes

Yeah, watching and understanding a 2 minute video is too difficult for modern gamers.
