You cannot build a minehole on a claim without permission right?

If so then if the claim on surface covers the underground palisade, it cannot be mineholed into. So the pallisade above can be smaller just has to protect claim?

feels risky but I didnt realise how sloped my above it and need to change plans or find 15k units of soil lol

you can always "break" claim rules, aslong as you dont have visitor buff.

Confusingly, some claim rules have been made unbreakable, mostly to patch out "unwanted interactions."
-Building a Wall (ie. Palisade or Brickwall) without Vandalism permission.
-Sealing cornerposts without Vandalism permission.
-Possibly something else that I don't remember (potentially the Minehole thing, but I wouldn't count on it.)

Lacking vandalism perms prevents animals chasing you from breaking objects is another special rule. Prevents bear bowling.
