Can you show how tar-sticks-roofed house will look?

I will, I am almost halfway to the tar I need to make the roofing. 16 L is not enough, need like 50 or so...

Hearthlings log: Day 7.

"The Tar just keeps flowing.. i stand here and stare at it for hours, willing the wood to burn down into charcoal.. but it just keeps burning.. and burning, and burning without any noticeable change, other than the endless river of tar, so much tar."

I just burned 4-5 blocks of pine and got a whopping 10 liters of tar... and only 5 coal. I've burned 3-4 blocks of some other wood and gotten like 8-9 coal. Wonder if it is random or if different woods are better suited for coal/tar. And under the advisory of this thread I've avoided burning mirkwood

But how? Do you have to keep taking the tar out the whole time or what?
