That either seems like a bug or you don't understanding the combat system.
Are you sure the defenses you had up weren't against one specific bat, and another bat hit you?

Does anyone know exactly how dream catchers work, as in their time to produce dreams?
I just harvested two dreams from one dream catcher, waited a few seconds, and then immediately harvested a third one.

it's possible i don't fully understand it.

i was only fighting one bat. jump, quick dodge, watch its moves were full. i had put them on while aggroing from afar, bat reaches me and i hear the SHWING sound of getting hit. and again, and again. all three defenses still active. it was my understanding that you can't get damaged unless your defense is broken, is that incorrect?

i ran towards it to attack as this happened, does that matter at all?

according to old wiki, 20 mins. at least one every hour or so, but...

Fixed a minor bug with dream catchers producing dreams very soon after harvesting. Much gaem braek.

guess it's not fully fixed.

@Turtlesir, That does sound like a bug to me, I fought some bats today and they behaved as they have always done.

ah, i think i get what happened. i had the defenses up against another bat that had flew off, then aggroed a new one without realising they were from the old fight. i assumed the defenses were on your person, not on the current battle. thanks, Strandmullen.

1. How many tiles, exactly, does a battering ram moves before breaking down?

2. On the fourth day of taming, 75 points already, I went to fight an animal and lagged and it KO'd me... now I can't leash again (thrashes wildly) and IS NOT accepting clovers. What do I do? I just lost it for good?

1. 25 over paved tiles, not sure about unpaved.

Just another one:

I had 3 leashed Aurocsen. The 3 of them were correctly leashed to a hitching post and have been here for a few days... I'm not taming them because I can't beat Aurocsen yet, but I was holding them for later...
Now I just came home after some exploring and one of them simply disappeared.
Does animals disappear after some time if no Taming is attempted?
