Just built this. I like everything except the planks I used, too bright. What would be a better darker alternative?

120 basalt
130 gneiss
100 mirkwood blocks
60 plumwood planks
30 tarsticks
20 elm boughs
5 cast iron

Larch, Hazel, or Aspen. Planewood is also incredibly dark.

Is that a tar roof? I've yet to see mine have such a white shimmer to it.

Proved my point, the first 2 used same wood in boards/blocks, 2nd guy used single wood type for each so it's hard to infer much from these.

By combining both those concepts, you can infer exactly which the primary and secondary for boards and blocks are. You have the information you need to colour your next house from those three posts.
