You get more variety of fish and have a wider variety of bait available now. Any insect can be used along with leeches, worm, entrails, etc. There's also a wider variety of fish. Instead of being based on the lunar cycles, I think it's more area based.

You can use artificial lures with the more advanced fishing rods, but it's a weird system. If you played Salem, you should be familiar with the concept.

Can tamed animals feed from planted grass?
If yes, grass from flax seeds is any good?

Like foragables, since I can't do anything else besides that.

Elderberries, blackberries and hazelnuts give perception.

Stupid question, but would be a neat feature considering how slow it heals (even though thats intended)

Quality of thing used to treat stuff does affect on speed im quite sure.
Would be neat that they'd add some rare forageable fate curio that you could make thing to heal wretched cores faster. It would be really rare and high valua trade good to trade for those who got really big wound.

That would be a really great idea. The game needs to give people a much better reason to travel 5+ hours to actually trade. Id support this. Maybe cut down the time it takes to heal a wretched gore by 2/5ths. Sounds reasonable and not OP.

Each quality of crop you plant is indepedant. So if you have q100 stuff planted beside q10 stuff, they won't interact in any way.

What you might be thinking about is quality batching, but in order for that to apply they have to be the same Q seeds planted at the same time within 300 tiles of each other.

They will if there's no food in a trough near them. I've even seen them bug up and eat grass even with a trough full nearby in previous versions, but haven't seen that reported yet. You'd be better feeding them the seeds than planting them as eating the grass counts a q10 if I recall right.

What you plant grass with doesn't matter. It's grass.

Dont feed them grass mate. You're better off trying to get into a system where you can keep your cows feed off of the crops you grow (We have our own mass-carrot field for Cows, and another carrot field for village consumption. Soon to see if mass-planting seeds will be a better option)
Also, if you do infact plan on feeding them grass, make sure the entire ground in their pen is all grass. If theres dirt, theres a chance they can walk onto it and take a "well-fedness" tick, which I think means drops the cow 1Q point in all qualities?
