You can place all similar items into a stockpile by Shift+right clicking the object onto the stockpile.
I remember reading other shift right click tips, but I don't recall seeing this.

I have found that foxes have multiple defenses against sweeping (yellow) attacks and at least one striking (green) defense, but none against backhanded (blue) attacks. furthermore they themselves have no sweeping attacks but alternate between striking and backhanded attacks.

For for a tiny bit of early LP, in the character creation place you can make a cone cow and study it. When you enter the fire to the actual world it will still be in your study report. Useful if there are no trees with cones around. NOTE: Anything in inventory will be wiped upon entry of the Hafen world.

You'd need to trigger lore event somehow to gain experience points before you can study anything, the initial 1k xp is only given when you enter fire.

Granted, you can try digging and there's even a willow at the memorial thingy.
