Not sure what you mean here. Animals keep moving until they enter into a combat relation with you, then they don't really move at all except to follow you or to run off if you spook them.

I have discovered a good tactic for melee and us. Keep in mind tho I have only tested this on animals not people. The tactic is ALWAYS be the one chased not the one chasing. That may sound like a bad idea but think about it. If someone is chasing you then you can get your defense up and attack at your leisure where as if you are chasing you can't reach them the therefore have to wait for the chased to turn and attack, And if he turns and attacks chances are all his defenses are up. If you are being chased you actually have slight control over the battle. Again not tested on people.

If you want to turn your chair you can use Rowdy dance emote while sitting in it to turn it without lifting.

If you fill a barrel of tanning fluid, you can then lift the barrel, then fill the tanning tubs directly from the barrel by right clicking the tub.

Not possible. Maybe a slinged stone will do the trick, but you can't handle bricks that way.

You can continually harvest things like wool, hairs and milk from wild animals by giving them a new clover every 6 minutes

Do not have them leashed or tied to a post, just let them roam freely inside of a stick fence, or whatever
