Yes we can.
Hearthlings don't sleep. We are eternally hopped up on coffee.
Give the catchers a few hours though, it takes much longer now to generate dreams.

Actually, I was able to forage 2 dreams from a catcher i placed behind a tree to hide it (before i realized you could pan camera...)

Carpentry skill I believe. That was the old requirement and I didn't get a bone until after I got the skill.

Chickens are easier to catch than rabbits. Of course, just look for a fox with a rabbit on the map, and the fox will take care of it for you.

How do I get fir cones to make cones cow?

I've only found two cones that don't work: cypress and myrtle oak (think that was the second one... shrub sized tree with cones to pick).

The problem I found is that cone bearing trees are rare in the deciduous forested areas (apple, plum, birch, etc).
