I found a weird tree in w9. Could someone please explain the use of it?
if has a minimap icon as well.

Its heartwood. Which you should get by shape of it.
If I remember right you get leaves from it that reduce travel weariness. But somone has probably already picked em from that one.
They are quite useless at the moment as people dont have v claims or charter stones yet. But I think their value will rise in the future.

Can I cook anything in Fireplace?
When I open it there are 2 by 2 slots.
Also are hop cones any use now?
Since in World 8 they were useless, unless I wanted Bee Wax and Honey production to increase.

Is it possible to accelerate the healing rate of concussion wounds? they appear to heal extremely slowly

Only with Ancient Roots, gathered from an Ancient Windthrow, but these are rare.
