Put wood blocks in to fuel it. It'll drip tar out that can be collected with a bucket and stored in a barrel. After it runs out of fuel there will be charcoal.

Almost certainly but I'm not sure what that cap is. I'd hazard a blind guess at like 10l.

For those who have stake claims. How do they work? And is it worth it this early in the game?

Food satiations are like cravings, the more you crave (Lower percent) the more feps you gain from that food. Or less hunger? Or something good.

FEP gained from a food is the foods FEP value * satiation value * hunger value

So a new player eating a q10 blueberry would get this: 1.0 * 100% * 300% = 3 fep

An older player who's eaten a lot might have some satiation on forageables for that FEP bar and a worse hunger mod

1.0*90%*50% = 0.45 fep

Not overgrinding your stamina is important for FEP gain at this point in the game. As is not abusing the same food types too often, or eating high hunger penalty foods. Now I've seen some foods that satiate two values at the same time. Not sure if they get both penalties, the lowest one or what.
