the skill isn't required by all cures, so far i've only seen it needed for gauze.

Edit: nevermind it turns out my firebrand burned out the second it was gonna light making me thing it had lit it.

You need to build trellis and plant seeds into it. You also need winemaking skill.

is there any use for brimstone any more now that it's not required for vclaims and does anyone know what pit clay is for?

Hey Lich ... not sure about the brimstone now, I was told it was used in Charter Stones along with the rock crystal but the wiki says not, so my info looks to be incorrect. The clay pit produces blue bricks like we used to get from cave clay, so possibly also porcelain.
