If i put my hearthfire right infront of my house, will people be unable to enter it?

The only person that can walk through your hearth fire is you. The question is if you can get it close enough to the threshold to block anyone from walking past it. Of course, this all assumes you have a claim you built your house on so nobody comes by and just destroys the house.

Why not just put a lock on it?

Morels. Can't eat 'em, can't study 'em. What do we do with them?

Herbalist tables or cauldron would be good places to start looking.

Is there a new way to seal palisade cornerposts to prevent some random from extending it?

Is the Combat Discoveries tied to unarmed combat? Done a hell of a lot of them and only gotten 2 successes, and one of them discovered a move I started with.

In my experience you have to actually hit them to discover, meaning you have to bypass your opponents defences

Is there a way to build/pave on the bluish greenish brownish forest terrain? I can't build a cabin on it, and it won't let me hand-pave it. I haven't settled so I haven't tried using a plow.
