does anyone know if once leashed, can an animal be unleashed by any means other than dropping the rope? just right clicking the animal again doesnt work. it would make sense that it would, but it doesnt. and dropping and picking up a rope each time is annoying.

Agroing worked for me, as well as the leash deteriorating after a while.

does a biome spread faster if there is someone online near it?
or does watching grass grow have no effect?

How long does it take for a horse to wake up after getting knocked out?

Since biome spread is a function of decay ticks and - according to the devs - maps currently don't get decay while being unloaded, biome spread should work faster when you watch it.
