Yeah I tried that, nothing happened, didn't get a message or anything; but when I try building a cabin, it gives a message saying I can't build there.

Dumb question: what skill do I need to build a lean to?

Edit: I already built one, but that character died (tried swimming, I'm such a noob). So my next char inherited. It can't access the previous leanto of course, but doesn't have the option to build a new one, even though I've gotten several of the beginner's skills.

Feather dusters with Yeomanry, feather trinkets with Hearth Magic, and maybe some more things that I haven't discovered yet.
