When you say travel is it teleport or walk ? I'm asking because this would be time saving and really safe, it seems OP so I'd like to know exactly how it works before building one myself. Thank you for you time and answers :]

I mean what do people usually do with a village and roard ? Milestone inside ? Outside ?

He means teleport. Walking is just walking, the only thing roads do is click for you. All rules to "walking" apply normally.
Villages usually place their milestone outside, there's no more advantage in placing it inside since it can't be teleported over the wall anymore.
