You always need defensive moves during melee battles.
Pro tip : Use a cliff, this way you have all the time in the world to plan your next action.
Str : 15 Con : 14 UA : 12.
Ennemy : Mufflon.

And it could be usefull to learn some better UA moves before trying, and wearing an armor help a lot.

it's like having a wife, you need to punch her a few time before she begin to be obedient !

Are you 100% sure you cannot use archery even if you hit it only once? Cause if you hit it once it will put you on peace, then you peace it back for the taming to go up right?

Jorb please answer this question: does the animal INITIATE the battle (the icon and moves appears), or it only stands still in a battle animation?

Krelker, in 2 and a half hours I would've had my mouflon tied up for a full 24 hours with no battle initiated. What Id like to know is, since I bear the rope, can they initiate battle on a passerbyer or a fellow villager? Or, are there possible triggers where the mouflon doesnt engage but cancels the taming process all together, just leaving it there on the hitching post. Anyway, Ill report back in 2 and a bit hours to see if its ready for battle as Animal Husbandry indicates.

So, I'm just trying to tame a cow. I feed it with clover, snare and tie
it to the post. And after 10 hours near it and still no agro. I'm the only one near for whole time.

Mine just entered combat stance after 20-21 hours after hitching. Still no aggro.

Who cares about that if i have nothing to feed it with and no chance to beat it.

When its in combat stance, that's when we attack it.

Let me know how it goes. I suspect you need to beat it into submission 2 times. What did your animal look like in its combat stance to let you know it was ready? My mouflon just keep chasing my cow around.. 22 hours hitched next to each other.
