It looks like amount of FEP you gain from food uses formula B*SQRT(A/10) where B is base stat and A is vitality. Base stat is amount of FEP you will gain from food at q10,10,10.

Unfortunately i've got too few sample to realized how satiation or hungry works.

Heading off topic a bit here but its good info..

So i have been eating lots of meat.. Boar.. Badger.. Fox..

This has been giving me loads of satiation had quite a few stack up in the list...
Then i switched back to eating fish and after each FEP gain one of the satiation went away..
The list is now empty again
i suspect that if i continue eating fish i will be getting new satiation's...

This seems to balance each other out..

P.S
looks like fishing will not be a noob activity in Hafen anymore

It does balance some. As sevenless pointed out, the top of the list is wiped, the next two get decreased by a percentage (50% for both). I haven't really paid attention to the list if it is ordered simply by first in, first out, or by highest penalty first. I'm thinking of farther down the road where you're going to need a lot of variety, and can possibly stack that list way up. I could be completely wrong, too. Blunt force was the typical way in previous Haven once you hit 100+ stats. (200 for a few stats like STR and con; numbers going up as world progressed, of course.)

I don't know how advanced the food types get in Haven, but I only imagine that they'll start getting a lot of crossover satiation penalties, and bigger ones, too.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Pretty sure it's by highest Percentage, so your biggest penalty is always what gets wiped.

Yeah I'm very curious what's going to happen with that. Is there a max penalty like 10%? Or can characters get FEP locked (in theory)?

Probably.

Ah, I thought maybe there might be a max satiation penalty of some kind to prevent it.

I think you'd have to try fairly hard to get there, though. Spam away at the highest hunger levels and it might happen. Idk.

We have some plans for it.

Definitely agree after messing with it. Not a concern unless someone is literally doing it intentionally at this stage of the game. When stats hit the 500+ range maybe it would come into play since they'd have to eat so much to power through the 25% stage or spend months waiting on hunger regen.
