How do you guys archieve that much LP with questing?

Wait. Does questing not have a cooldown?? Just how crazy is 24/7 playing going to be?

Nope no cool down and in all of 45 min my test character made about 100k LP. So its safe to say we can expect murders to happen day 1.

This is why so many of us tell people start of a new world is a horrible time to try to figure out the game. You never know where you're starting at, and there's too many roaming gankers looking to secure their area.

I made a test char , actually I made two , a friend made one too.
either I'm a complete noob or his number are pure bullshit.
no way you can make 100k lp/ hour.

That being said , yes quests are OP , but it's reasonable.

I've made about 8-10 hours questing. The guy stating about 100k for 1 hour is a fiction-writer and he shouldn't be taken seriously. 2-8k LP per hour is possible based on your luck. Do not see anything OP about that.

One quest for walking 5-10 minutes to another tree gave 12k. Its a crap shoot on how much you get or if you get XP instead. Since more quests take little to no time and multiple can be worked on at once 100k wasnt a lie. 3 10K+ quests within 20 minutes on top of the 12k was 42k alone. Spamming quests can give way too much LP at start.

I once got 25k LP for catching a rat and talking to a rock. Took me about 15 minutes all up. Never got another quest that gave more than 10k LP again though.

Quests give LP now? I thought they were an exp thing and that finding quest givers was not a common occurrence?

I've missed a whole lotta updates and know nothing about what I'm saying but i'm trying to catch up to prep to start W10.

You should get your first quest within 10-15 minutes of logging in if you haven't done one before. If you have the Hearth Magic skill, you get an ability called "Commune with Nature" that will get you another quest. They can give LP, XP, Hunger reduction, and items (pretty sure it's just the gilding leaf with random stats and affinities.)

I'm not calling 100k/hr bullshit, but it's not something people are going to see very often.

Here viewtopic.php?f=48&t=52720 the guy admitted it was not 100k/hour. He got very lucky with quest rewards twice in a row and decided to extrapolate it wishfully.

It isn't a terrible idea to roll the dice on questing. Plenty of waiting you have to do for claims to go up or leather to be made.

Though for unlucky bastards like me it's just a waste of time. I quested for about 3 hours and finished a quest around 20 min each and I think I came out of it with 10k LP and 300 exp. Mostly hunger refills.

anyway my world 10 prep will just be gaining LP to make a claim while finding a spot to put it. If it sticks and takes effect, probably a decent spot. if someone smashes it...prooobably a sign to move on anyway.
