Turn on criminal acts and interact with it. You'll only leave trespassing, if anything, which goes away in about 8 hrs if I recall correctly.

Yeah, not sure waiting is worth it. I just read a report in Bugs about someone having to wait up to 5 days to get another quest.

But to be honest, only 15 minutes isn't long. I've made some walks that have taken an hour or more already because there's no practical way to get there by boat (at least not without leaving my boat laying for an extended period... and I'm paranoid about boat theft because I was a "collector" of lost boats in previous worlds).

Abandoned questgivers does not disappear. (I don't know if this has already been reported)

I abandoned all my quests after I moved away from my spawn place, I moved for like 3 hours mostly by boat so I am sure to be really far away from my spawn point. I received a new quest in less then 5 minutes, to be honest.

Now one of the quest point me toward one of the first questgiver that I met the first day of playing (unless the name matches for some strange reason...). So you can be pointed toward old abandoned questgiver. I still don't know if the old QG will be able to give me new quests, because I don't want to do this insane travel again.

Nobody has ever said this. It's not a bug. The elemental spirits seem to be generated once and don't move. I don't know what the case is if the object inhabited is destroyed. (My limited guess is the spirit is destroyed from comments on the forums and from the devs.) I still get "laugh at Elohim" who is 5 minutes from my camp when I just walked an hour to Berber.
