If I remember correctly, each extra card gives 12.5% more power, up to a total of 150% of base at 5 cards (for defenses/openers that is). Important for defences, important for attacks you use to make openings, not needed as much on IP skills or long cooldown damage dealing attacks like chop/cleave.

Early game getting left hooks up lets you hunt a bit better than just with punch. 3 left hook cards are better than 5 punch cards I seem to think I calculated.

yeah it was quick dodge but man even at 14 UA (with buffs) and 17 str ants are still a pain.

Strength is pretty meaningless in early game fighting. Anything short of bear/moose you could probably do with 10 str and be fine.

Agility is where it's at my man.
