Did you possibly retry downloading the current client completely?

Only thing I can say is update the graphics driver but it is hard to figure this issue out unless I can debug it real time and without an error it makes this even harder. Is your windows and graphics card completely up to date?

Using NVIDIA GeForce client to update GPU drivers. Windows updated automatically.

Did you attempt in letting it use 2gb of max memory rather than 1gb?
