I only raid them within 10second run of water, and use hiding in water to make the combat vs them easier. That said, I've as a result fucked my character for 24 hours (two cases of 10-12 hours) for fighting and mining completely. Beesting + other bite wound = 10hhp gone and -10 agi -10str. Midges touching you is a very quick death that way.

Bees being respectable in combat for that reason is tolerable if painful I guess. But the swarms are way too common if that's the way we're rolling.

And the problem is, that jorb thinks, that such game mechanics are realy "fun". I know that at some point game should be chalanging to play, but cmon, everything should have own limits.
Same goes for wounds, in later game wounds dont do shit for veterans, but for early game or newcommers - its a pain in the ass, when whathever you dou, you gonna get wound. People have to enyoy playing not to suffer from playing.

I do not think it is much trouble to raid these hives. When I am doing it, I have friend of mine raid the hive and summon the bees. Then he will kite bees away while I go to scoop the prize from the hive. Sometimes when this is done, another batch will spawn and attack me, but most of the time this is not the case. If it will summon bees twice in a row, we both will run and then try different hive.

Bees are about on par with bats combat wise, but attack like ants. 20ua/20agi should be enough to beat them 1v1 if you're using shallow water (they won't fly over it) and are being careful. Always have run on and your mouse ready in a specific direction when you're raiding. If two swarms pop out you need to book it because they'll get a proper sting on you quick. Keep your openings below 7 to avoid taking damage and risking a sting 1v1, abandon entirely if 2 swarms pop up. Problem is midges can be anywhere so if you get a sting be ready to deal with a day of doing nothing combat/mining related. Stings take 4-5 hours to go away, and you're mortally in danger of midges until it does.

I want to mine today, so I won't be going anywhere near hives lol

Not sure how anyone can do this. I currently have about 14 bee groups after me!

My tactic has been clicking the hive then running to the water. Move them to the side and try the hive again. Each time has only been adding more to the group.

With other players maybe this can be done, as other have stated but how the fuck can one do this without the use of alts.... you guys winding us up?

I noticed with each new group the initial attack damage is higher.

When I am doing it we will raid hide twice in quick succession. As soon as friend will bait the bees by raiding, I will raid it a few second later. My sample size is very small, but in my few testings it seem that there is lesser chance for these bees to spawn again after they have just spawned. Maybe I am just getting lucky here though.

If you will like to try this strategy without using alt, maybe you can find some other man to help you!

a energy system so flawed it basically requires you to use alts to be relevant in the game.
its not the players that are flawed its the game.

i still love this game tho.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

More like your social upbringing forces you to behave like that. Players are okay.

So what people are saying is when you raid there is a random number of Bee Swarms inside? So if you raid Kill the swarms then raid Kill swarms eventually it will stop spawning Swarms? so in the alt situation you basically are using the Alts/other players to empty the hive of bees?

1) No I actually did it "legit". It's overtuned due to allergic reaction though, so I'm probably going to wait for the update to see if they make it any easier. Midges can kill a 200hp character in under a minute due to allergic reaction.

2) Beesting wounds amplify their damage against you.
