I saw a lot of abandoned settlements in the AD/Vegetable Ninjas area with holes in palisades and skeletons left in weird places within the abandoned walls. The only settlements I could find were huge villages and everything around them seemed trashed. Maybe it was just abandonment, but I decided to stick with my gut and left the place.
I followed up on a PM and joined a village in Hedgehugs. Please don't raid and murder me lol.
I've been going around and bashing abandoned places over the past few weeks. As far as I'm aware there's only two groups near the central continent that actively go after people. You've got the pirates located here, who raid new players across the central continent. Then you've got Santa-PK located here, who in the past have only ran away from PVP but recently attempted to siege a friendly group of players. This siege resulted in the loss of their knarr and the death of what I would assume was their best fighter (based on who was there and the gear they were wearing) after AD and some Veggies came to aide their defense in a rapid response(Took them all less than 45 minutes to arrive coming from their own continents). And after this they've been hiding in their village, so really only have the pirates to worry about. Everyone else is friendly, that I've come across at least.
As for the skeletons, I assume those were slave alts for labor.
A shame, you didn't stick around though.. I hope the village can protect you, because HH certainly can't.
