No problem. Here's a few tips to make raising your other stats easier all around (before access to farming):
1) Eat a wide variety of low FEP foods before eating for the stat you want. This is easy to do - gather a big variety of berries and tree nuts and fruits that you can eat. The more foods you eat, the lower the amount of FEPS you need to fill the bar.
2) Avoid eating anything that has an FEP you have too much of. So may want to not eat any mushrooms or boar meat for a while.
3) You can increase your variety of food by fishing. And the vast majority of fish do not have STR, IIRC. Many have DEX, PER, AGI, and INT.
4) Furthermore, if you get a cauldron up, you can boil morels for a half-decent PER food. It can be worth the effort and waiting time for the cauldron to boil.
5) Finally, you can process a few foods even if you don't have crops. Of course you can cook meat. You can roast bone marrow to get CON (good with apples!). And Rabbit food gives INT, PER, and CHA.
Another thing: it's usually far better to study curios found while foraging than to eat them - particularly ant queens and empresses.
Hope this helps, mate.
