Same reason rest of it was: clutter. Everything was consolidated as a group of thread links in the "How Do I?" announcements right up there with the rules. I know I forget it's there because of the separation from the rest of the posts.

To know the true direction of the quest, make the camera completely top-down so you only see the top of your head. Thank me later

You can use this nice little pattern grid tool to plan your village. It's very easy to use and saves your pallet, so you can easily add captions.

For all cave inhabitants: you can build cupboards in the nearest burrow.

You can place two cornerposts directly next to one another by using an intermediary cornerpost from a 3-tile wide gate.

Always carry a clover or two with you while question, because sooner or later you're going to have to carry your boat of an annoying amount of land, or decide between that or leaving it behind. Much quicker process if you can find a horse close by to carry your shit at speed.

Let us reflect upon the good he was able to do during his short time in the hearthlands.
Let us remind ourselves of his bravery and willingness to fight for the safety of his friends!
Let us hope he can surpass his previous achievements in his future lives.

I always keep a clover on me for horse purposes. Always. They're just too efficient to pass up.

I'm sure it's in this thread already, but it's good to remember that you can budge right up against them and then use the clover to speed up the process a bit.

Some early world tips:

So you have a cliff in your village and it's nothing but a pita? Wrong. Make that eyesore useful

Outdoor mini-cupboards that take no space and won't decay. And when you are more advanced, your storage becomes your mirkwood curio supply.

Logs logs everywhere cause we need fucktons for mansions and all kinds of early game shit. Except they take so much space even when packed neatly. Cliff them and if you're not as lazy as I am you can do it tidy and fit more:

You catch my drift by now. works great for boats too as well as your village's curio desks which you can comfortably access from the bottom or the top of the cliff to stock and manage.
