Is village claim drain per in game day or real time?

Given on the wiki? I don't recall what numbers it gives, but it is total village authority divided by 21 days to get the drain per RL day. Usually, times are supposed to be RL days:hours:minutes unless explicitly indicated as "game time" if I recall right.

Anyone that can shed some light on the "cache<long nr>.new" files that, in my case at least, seem to keep popping up (and staying around) in the games cache folder.

Currently counting 29 of those.
Of which 3 seem to be also available as normal-named cached res-files. (same res-name and res-version, but having different res-content sizes).

I remember there was a spreadsheet about fishing. Which fish is better fishing with which lure (it is on wiki, i know), but also which hook and fishing line is better. After fishing update with fishline it's not 100% accurate anymore, but i have started fisherman credo right now and even hook choice will be a GREAT help. Problem is i don't remember link and can't find this in search. Any help/ideas?

How da fuq do you light the fireplace? for the life of me no matter how many of those damn fire stick thingamajigs i make and no matter how much i rightclick the fireplace, the damn thing just WILL NOT light, i'm unsure what i'm doing wrong since all the info i can find seems really old

You need 2 sticks. Under Adventure, "Light Firebrand". It will perform an action, have plenty of water or you'll be too tired to drill. Once it lights you right click a fireplace and it will either light or fail and then you restart with light a firebrand. Makes sense?
